Precision spectroscopy of Rydberg atoms for quantum state engineering and sensing

This experimental PhD project will develop tools and complete spectroscopic studies of Rydberg atoms, applied to quantum sensing and computing. The aim is to generate and utilise coherent properties of quantum states via controlled excitation to Rydberg states, to demonstrate a quantum advantage.
